উইব্লগবিডির প্রতিষ্ঠাতা নাজির হোসেন। যিনি পেশায় একজন মেকানিক্যাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং পড়ুয়া শিক্ষার্থী। এছাড়াও তিনি বিভিন্ন পত্র-পত্রিকাতে লেখালিখি করেন। তিনি দ্বিমাসিক প্রত্যাশা নামের একটি পত্রিকার সম্পাদনার দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন। 

 

উইব্লগবিডির ভবিষ্যৎ লক্ষ উচ্চশিক্ষা। অক্সফোর্ড কিংবা ক্যামব্রিজের মতো কোনো বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে পিএইচডি সম্পূর্ণ করে দেশে এসে কোনো একটা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে প্রোফেসর হিসেবে যুক্ত হওয়া। এবং গবেষণার কাজে মননিবেশ করা। 

 

এছাড়াও তার সবথেকে বড় লক্ষ্য মানবতামূলক কাজ করা। দেশের ওইসব মানুষের নিয়ে কাজ করা, দারিদ্রতা যাদের হার মানায়। এবং ওইসব পথশিশুদের মাঝে শিক্ষার আলো ছড়িয়ে দেয়া, দারিদ্রতার দরুন যারা পড়ালেখা থেকে বঞ্চিত। অল্প বয়সে ঝরে পড়তে হয়, কিংবা কাজে ঢুকতে হয়।
